Nice Persian restaurant with delicious food! Although we had a reservation, we still had to wait 15 minutes, which was a bit frustrating. However, the food made up for it—great flavors and good portions. Worth a try

If you want to test the traditional persian food, this is the right choice. The atmosphere of Gilaaneh is very unique and beautiful . The taste of food was good but it was pricey compared with other persian restaurants. We tried Kabab Torsh, Bademjan Kababi, and chicken. Also, try very fresh bread, Barbari. After dinner, we order tea with Baklava and reshte-khoshkbar. None of them were good. The Baklava was very sweet and not fresh. Don't try it.

My daughter and I went here for supper for authentic Persian food. We started with the eggplant/scrambled egg dip with barbari bread. Both were delicious. We had ground beef and chicken kabob meals. The food was fresh and the meat was very tasty. The rice was nicely done and plenty of it. The restaurant was nicely Persian decorated and the view of the woodlot was a welcoming break from seeing the city everywhere. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the city.

My parents and I celebrated our anniversary here, and everything exceeded our expectations. The decor was exquisite, the food had a unique and delightful taste, and the service was exceptional. Elnaz, who served us today, provided warm and attentive service with a graceful touch. We truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. It was an unforgettable experience, and we will definitely be coming back.

Delicious authentic Persian restaurant in North York. One of the best Vaziri plates and Persian ice cream I’ve ever had! The Fresh bread was also amazing! Restaurant is quite large with lots of seating and it has a section on the other side of the entrance for live entertainment. Plenty of parking available and suitable for small to large groups. Located by the Pan Pacific Hotel on York Mills.

We waited over an hour to get our food, which really put a damper on the experience. The staff were friendly and the space itself was nice, but the long wait just wasn’t worth it. By the time the food arrived, we were too tired to enjoy it properly. Hopefully this was just a one-off, but based on this visit, I’m not sure I’d come back.
